creating life: part two

Did some thinking... Thought of possible story
lines to fill this character's needs.
In the end I built a female body prototype
out of clay. Next time i might go by an
image.

It's pretty rough, but I'm new to clay, well I'm new to all these mediums; anyway the process goes:
clay sculpture, make a cast, fill the cast with skin texture, add skeleton, filling. voilĂ  a fully pose-able being.

creating life: part one

About a two weeks ago after seeing a certain exhibition, and watching a certain animated film; I found myself inspired to create my own moving picture production.
After doing a little research I discovered this could be a small bit more complicated than expected. I first had to get supplies from the local art store, a few camera accessories off ebay. still yet to arrive. Now educated on the process, building a skeleton was first task.

wire and glue very basic. stuff. At the moment this character doesn't have a story or a sex.
I did give it hands and feet.

Looking a little like a robot (hot glue guns are awesome) I went primary school and used matchsticks to add some mass to the arms and legs, also ensuring they would bend only in joint areas.

on the right: has a matchstick penis. yikes.

moving on in technology

So now that we all have given up on Australia winning the world cup I can get on with the exciting stuff that happened this week. Like remembering my Playstation. And Pspgo. I find myself conflicted in trying to choose a better console to commit to. 360 is great for online which I hardly ever do. ps3 is the most powerful; but gets used for watching the wiggles more than anything. Comparing trophies to achievements is tough.. trophies are harder to get and I can't give that much commitment to any games on it yet. Unless I get a bigger tv! I mean a new tv - one for the family viewing and one for serious happy gaming funtime.

In the end I just wish the earth would just spin a little slower so i can have some daytime away from work and domestic lifestyle, to feed my gaming addiction.

Now that I'm over my whiny self. Gran Turismo 5 will be in 3d so i need a 3d tv.
there is a new xbox360 slim console 250gb.
a Nintendo 3ds no glasses needed.
and Wii is still boring.

After hours contemplating getting a credit card or loan to afford these things. I ended up downloading the new metal gear solid peace walker for Pspgo. So if I start saving now, I just might have enough to buy a 3rd or 4th generation 3d tv, or i could sell all my old things i haven't used this week.
Which means this laptop survives for now.

the week i just had..

So this week we had mother's day and i had sickness.
Caught a cold from a nice fella at work who doesn't understand personal space.
Had to clean out my bird bath before seeing my mother and my sister for her birthday. little did i know a lizard had crawled into the hose before i connected it to the tap. After a few seconds of hosing it stuttered, and stopped.. so i turned it off and pulled the end off. yep lizard head hanging out. I felt sick. not my cold sick. so i had to grab his head and pull the rest of his dead body out. it was intact. i buried him, said a few words, went out.
planned a couple projects this week.

objectives:
- comic based on workplace. (fictional, names changed. won't affect media agreement)
- videogame from a year ago. (stealth horror, comedy no programing ability to date)
- draw a sketch for the wife's painting.(child in the rain)
- step dads fiftieth. (get one of the "big" presents)

additional objectives:
-brother is in town. (get present, won't see him for his birthday)

completed tasks:
- fiftieth gifts.

I guess it shows my priorities. I blame having a cold, though it didn't stop me from working 50 hours.i also spent 2 hours playing lego batman on 360.

good week. I spose so. weekend should be better.

introduction to you

The information i hope to project to the cyber community will most likely not be useful to anyone.
I hope to develop this blog into something worth reading. With photos and everything! (rad I know)
so i will now leave you with one thought: is planning your day or planning your life more important?

I struggle with choosing dinner...
